             <\/div>\n                                                                                                                <div class=\"GutCol2-intro\">4 rockers were produced by metal 3D printing as part of the vehicle\u2019s suspension.\r\n         <\/div>\n                                                                                                                <div class=\"GutCol2-text Content\">\n                                            <p>Created in 2019, the <a href=\"https:\/\/insa-racing-team.alumni-insa-lyon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">INSA Racing Team by M\u00e9casport <\/a>is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insa-lyon.fr\/en\/insa-lyon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">INSA Lyon<\/a>\u2019s Formula Student team.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The project involves around thirty enthusiastic students, whose aim is to design, produce and test a racing vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Four mounting parts for the <a href=\"https:\/\/initial.mentalworks.me\/en\/secteurs_activites\/3d-printing-automotive\/\">vehicle<\/a>\u2019s suspension were produced using <a href=\"https:\/\/initial.mentalworks.me\/en\/metal-3d-printing\/\">metal 3D printing<\/a> technology.<\/li>\n<li>These parts are key components in the vehicle\u2019s suspension.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/initial.mentalworks.me\/en\/materials\/metal-en\/\">Aluminium AlSi10Mg<\/a> ensures robustness and hardness thanks to its combination of silica and magnesium.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n                                        <\/div>\n                                                                    <\/div>\n these are vital components of the suspension and shock absorption system, as they transmit movements and forces from the wheel to the shock absorber.        <\/span>\n            <\/div>\n\n remarkable, as part of it was also produced by 3D printing        <\/span>\n            <\/div>\n                                                                                                                                                    <div class=\"GutCol2-text Content\">\n                                            <p>Part of the vehicle\u2019s airbox was also produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/initial.mentalworks.me\/en\/plastic-additive-manufacturing\/sls-3d-printing\/\">3D printing using powder sintering.<\/a> Production using <a href=\"https:\/\/initial.mentalworks.me\/en\/materials\/plastique-en\/\">aluminium-filled polyamide powder<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This production method ensures that the part is highly resistant to impacts and vibration, as well as to pressure variations that may occur when air is drawn into the engine.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to this technique, the airbox will be able to maintain its form and functionality even in extreme conditions, including high temperatures and intense stresses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n                                        <\/div>\n
